To help revitalize neighborhoods in NYC, Grey New York formed a long term partnership with City Year, the phenomenal non-profit youth service organization. In 2008, as part of that partnership, the entire agency traveled to Highbridge Park to clean up and beautify the area.
Part of this effort included the design and painting of nearly a mile of traffic barriers for bikers to enjoy. New York Times and Creativity Online picked up the story, boosting Grey's reputation through free publicity.
